Music Continued

Since I am not happy with the music out currently, I wondered what time period was the best for me.  I put together a list of my favorite songs and organized them by year.  I wasn't surprised to find that 94-97 was my sweet spot.  It was the golden age of grunge/alternative and I was in my early teens at that point.  I remember wearing thermal shirts and flannel fondly.  What I was surprised to find out was 1970 was the top year for me because I didn't start really caring about music until 20-25 years later.

Hmmm...did you do a post a couple years back where you picked your favorite song or band for every year you've been alive? Or something similar to that? I feel like you did. Or maybe I'm just crazy.

I like that two Simon & Garfunkel songs are on this list. It was my first real "old" group (pair?) that I was really really really into.

I looked at the billboard top songs of 1970 and was surprised at the number of songs that I liked.

Good year for music.
