Nationwide Baseball Tour

It's official: stops 10 and 11 on our tour of major league ballparks will be....

Tampa Bay Rays - Tropicana Field
Atlanta Braves - Turner Field

Ironically, their games are against the Indians and Reds respectively.

Sadly, you could probably wait until the day of the game to get tickets. What a shame. Two quality teams, and there will probably be 20-30,000 seats available on gameday.

I'm curious about Turner. I'll be interested to hear your feedback.

I'm equally curious about Tropicana, but in a morbid curiousity kind of way. I've heard it's not the best baseball park, so I'm wondering if you'll share the same sentiment.

How far is the Marlin's stadium from there? Why not try to get a game in there, too?

There's a promo for the Rays game - first 10,000 fans get a t-shirt. Does that mean everyone goes home with 5? Do they make a huge donation to Good Will?

I looked into the Marlins. It's a 4 hour drive to Miami, so it would take up a whole day. I don't know when we will be in the area next, but it seemed like too much baseball to squeeze out of the trip. We've gotta have time to go to Harry Potter land!!

Yeah, kind of a long trip to do both. Wait until the Marlins get into that new stadium, anyway.

When are you going?
